THE NINTH MEETING WILL FLOOD YOU

In 2006 we could not live to experience the assessment of the first year of the
Green World at the Brno Exhibition Centre. Its results were more than satisfied
as well as in the last year. This year the increasing trend of the trade
fair success causes a "tearing at seams" and we have to start thinking about
hall change for reasons of insufficient exhibition space. It proves that the
Green World will be becoming the event counted seriously in the gardening
branch not only by us, but also in other European countries. We appreciate
a huge progress for which we are immensely grateful to you, who expressed
a support by your participation in display or own attendance. As a reward we
have prepared an accompanying programme with prominent personalities
being leaders in their branches (see Accompanying programme) this year. On
Friday it will be one of the most prominent European experts for management
and marketing in the gardening centres – Mr. Ian Boardman from the Great
Britain, who prepared a lecture in the form of workshop. Saturday will be
devoted to the floristics world, where not only this year’s winners of the
Dûãínská kotva (Decin Anchor) will present you their art on theme of the
bride’s bouquet, traditional autumn, interior decor, and gift bunches of
flowers. The increased participation of newly exhibiting firms will dilute the
wide base of previous traditional exhibitors and enrich the fair with new
machines, natural production, products and expert knowledge, which will
be really embraced by any visitor.
It can’t be definitely defined where the expert knowledge starts or ends, but
only those, who know how to show and sell it, are successful ones. And
that’s, the role of the Green World consists on it.
We hope that thanks to the 2008 Green World you will find your customers
or suppliers, you will establish useful contacts, and you will see what new
events happened in the gardening industry within last year. Besides that you
will again meet your colleagues after a year. This all is provided by uniqueness
of exhibitions and fairs – all under one roof.
In conclusion we wish you pleasant and safe journey to the Brno Exhibition
Centre, where we will welcome you in the Hall C at the 2008 GREEN WORLD
Trade Fair in days of 5th to 6th September 2008.
